Yes, we accept most major insurance plans for medical dermatology services including skin cancer screenings, eczema, psoriasis, and acne treatments. Please note that cosmetic procedures such as Botox and laser treatments are typically not covered by insurance. Contact our office to verify your specific plan.

We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer the time slot to another patient in need. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Botox results typically last between 3 to 4 months, depending on the area treated, the dose used, and your individual metabolism. With regular maintenance treatments, many patients find that results can last longer over time. We will discuss realistic expectations during your consultation.

In many cases, yes. Depending on the nature of your concern and the type of treatment recommended, same-day treatment may be possible during your initial visit. Some procedures, however, may require a separate appointment to allow proper preparation or pre-care.

Some laser treatments are best performed when sun exposure is limited, as tanned or recently sun-exposed skin may increase the risk of side effects. However, not all laser treatments are restricted to cooler months. We will evaluate your skin type and lifestyle to recommend the safest timing for your treatment.

For the safety of both mother and baby, most cosmetic dermatology treatments including Botox, fillers, chemical peels, and laser procedures are not recommended during pregnancy. Breastfeeding patients are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Please inform us of your situation so we can guide you appropriately.

Use the ABCDE rule: watch for Asymmetry, irregular Borders, multiple Colors, a Diameter larger than a pencil eraser, or any Evolution (changes in size, shape, or color). If a mole is itching, bleeding, or crusting, it should also be evaluated promptly. Annual full-body skin exams are recommended for everyone.

Most acne treatments require patience. Topical treatments typically show improvement within 6 to 8 weeks, while oral medications such as antibiotics or isotretinoin may take 3 to 6 months for full results. We will set realistic expectations at your consultation and adjust your treatment plan as needed.
